If they are over 15 years old no, they can play the escape room experience alone
If they are over 12, but under 15 years old, at least one adult needs to stay on premises during their experience.
If they are under 12 years old, one adult needs to be in the escape room with them at all times.
You will have 60 minutes in our rooms, we are asking all customers to arrive 10 minutes prior to their booking and we have about a 5 minutes debrief after the game. If you are playing one escape room you will need to allow up to 75 minutes for the whole experience.
Not only do each of our rooms have emergency exit procedures in place but at no point during the game will you be locked in with no way of exiting. Additionally, your game host will be able to see and hear you as you play, so for any reason if you need to leave they can assist you right away.
We have different types of experiences available to suit everyone. Our scary rooms consist of Nightmare and Cabin in the Woods. However, if you fancy something different Hostage and Candy Shop are not designed to be scary. Candy shop is a great option for a family friendly escape room experience.
We understand that this condition is unique to each person and if at any point during the game you feel uncomfortable you are welcome to leave the room. Our game hosts watch your experience from the offset and as they can hear and see you, they will be able to detect any distress and respond accordingly.
Each of our escape rooms have emergency exit procedures in place that will be outlined in your pre-game health and safety brief.
No, your escape room experience is with your own party and will not involve other players.
To ensure sufficient time is allocated to the pre-game brief, all teams should aim to arrive five to ten minutes before your experience is scheduled to begin. If you do arrive early we have a comfortable waiting area for you with drinks and snacks available to purchase.
You are welcome to cancel your booking at any time; however, you will not be eligible to receive a refund. In replacement, we try our best to reschedule your booking for a time that is convenient for you.
Due to the range of experiences we have on offer each escape room have different limitations. For Candy Shop we set an age recommendation of 8+ and for Hostage, we suggest players be 10+ years of age. Additionally, Cabin in the Woods has a recommended age of 12+ and for Nightmare, we advise players to be 16+ years of age because of the scare factor in the room. You have the option to pay in full when you make your booking. Alternatively, you have the option of securing your experience with a £60 deposit over the phone, which is non-refundable, and then paying the remaining when you arrive on the day.
Our Candy shop experience is completely wheelchair accessible. However, we apologise, but due to space restrictions and physical requirements, all our other three rooms are not wheelchair friendly.
Yes, we have a selection of drinks and confectionary snacks available to purchase in our reception area.
No, before your game begins we encourage all phones to be locked away in the lockers provided. This is to prevent any recordings within our rooms as we like to keep our secrets a secret
All members of the public are welcome to play our games. It should be noted that some of our experiences include crawling, however, none of our rooms involve strenuous physical activities. Ultimately it would be your choice to participate dependant on your skillset and condition.
We do offer the opportunity for you to reschedule your booking if it is more than 24 hours before your experience. To cover staff costs, if you need to reschedule with us within 24 hours, we charge a £20 fee if your experience was booked on a weekday and £40 for a weekend.
