Covid-19 Procedure 

It is a requirement that all players must follow our COVID-19 guidelines.  

Guidelines for customers:

  • Hand sanitiser is provided and encouraged to use before and after your game.
  • Masks must be worn while in contact with staff members, but can be removed once your game starts.

What will happen while you are at Blackout Games: 

  • All players must arrive at least 10 minutes before their game start time. Upon arrival call 0800 4714 666 option 1 to check in.
  • We will let you in when it’s safe to do so, until then please wait outside.
  • Once your game is ready your designated games host will introduce themselves, ask if anyone needs to use the toilet and show you where you can leave your belongings while you play.
  • When you escape, we are asking players to not leave the rooms once you have opened the exit and wait for your host to arrive (all procedures will be explained during the pre-game brief).
  • Your host will offer a team photo and answer any questions you may have about the room and your experience.
  • The games host will lead you back to your belongings and escort you to the exit.

All game rooms will be cleaned, paying attention to high contact points such as locks and props between games.
